"Kimi Wa Melody" is the 43st single by the Japanese idol girl group AKB 48. It marks the 10th annual anniversary of the group, and was released in Japan on March 9, 2016. The song sold 1,133,179 copies on release day alone (1,247,891 in the whole week) and topping the weekly sales of the previous single "Kuchibiru Ni Be My Baby" which went only at no.2 globally, because of the huge success of Adele's smash *Hello*. "Kimi Wa Melody" is the 30th single from AKB 48, which reach the 1st place in the Oricon Single Chart, and the 24th single to sell over a million copies in a week.
